Acne is one of the most annoying diseases on the planet. And it is world spread as well, affecting almost eighty five percent of all teens and unfortunately ten percent of the adult population.
The main cause of its apparition on the facial, neck, shoulder, chest and back skin is mainly unknown by the specialized physicians in dermatology issues. They are battling on with this particular disease in order to find the all working, universal cure.
This is not impossible as it was believed to be, some years ago, but it is important to know the fact that each and every case of acne skin condition is caused by internal and external factors, combined, and each individual has a different type of this derma affliction.

This is why it is so hard to believe that a proper treatment, a universal one, will ever be developed by these dermatology specialists; but not quite. An interesting issue attracted the attention of the medical specialized physicians in dermatology issues. They have noticed some changes when it comes to hormonal activity, in some cases influenced the person.
This was also related to the fact the most women develop a very mild form of acne just prior or when in the menstrual period. The hormonal imbalances and peculiar activity may be regulated and eventually cure acne.
The thousand of products that exist today on the market are designed for all sorts of skins, dry or moisture, smooth or more rugged, the composition of the hair follicle, the skin pore orifice and other factors that might influence the development and apparition of acne.

There are some acne cases that start out from infections in the upper facial skin layer that mix up with the excess sebum from the sebaceous glands and transform all this into a purulent and eruptive outburst on the surface. The treatment here is obvious – antibiotic medication, one month, twice per day just before your meals.
Some acne cases are related only with the sebaceous glands and the fact that is some cases, they over produce the oily secretion that we call sebum (which was actually designed to create a barrier, a protective layer from the external or environmental factors so that the skin could not be damaged or affected in any way). The sebum reaches out to the surface of the skin, but when in large quantities, the oily secretions may remain stuck in the hair follicle orifice, where it can mix with the dead cell layers and form what we know as zits.
The recent studies have shown that Chinese were actually treating these kinds of derma affections with some plants that can be found only in the northern part of China. The herbal treatment was actually discovered centuries ago, and they are using it still.
The herbal acne treatment is not an ancient secret, but since the plants are not for commercial purposes it may be really difficult to obtain them.
