Engineering the medical world is a term not so long ago implemented. The medical industry takes a peak not only to the mechanical intervention benefits but also to the mechanics in particular.
Laser has become a commune thing in the day to day treatments of various affections.
Acne is one of those affections that can be temporary diminished with the usage of this modern tool. This approach has more and more fans, because it comes to an alternative to the usage of all those nasty oils and lotions, exfoliating creams, oral ingested medications, that you have to take at a certain time, and lots and lots of other attempts to cure yourself from this so very commune disease. The expectations are great and the results even greater.

First we must take a brief look at some research studies made in America. The FDA (the American Food and Drug Administration) qualifies the laser equipment as procedure oriented and that more comparative study must be made in order to determine all its effects, both short and long term ones, and to perfect this amazing technology piece. Nowadays on the market there are several existing light or laser treatments that can really make a difference. This is called phototherapy.
A light therapy consists in the blue light effect. This is the best well known acne treatment in this area, and with long term effects in most of the cases. This was approved by the Food and Drug Administration back in the U.S. and has a narrow banded with a high intensity with a blue light display device that can clean the tissue from the acne. This innovative acne treatment works simply by ravaging the whole acne causing bacteria, which lies between the skin tissues and obstruct the oils, such as sebum to pass towards the surface. The Blue Light acne treatment is also very proficient in fighting the more severe cases of acne eruptions and can heal skin scars, inflammations, redness and the dark or white spots that are relatively commune in each acne scenario.
The previous light treatment was with Ultra Violets but in the long term it had been discovered to damage the whole cell structure, not just the dead one or unnecessary bacteria. In time patients complained that during the night they had an excess of sebum secretion and even more aggressive attacks on both the face and their backs.

Blue light has no similar problematic after states. This kind of therapy lasts for about four weeks. The standard time is divided into eight sessions that last twenty minutes.
Other forms are the Puls Light or Heated Energy, for short LHE. It consists in exposing the acne sufferer to heated pulsed light that can reduce the quantity of the sebum secretions. This is possible only if you shrink the sebaceous glands. This is very useful in mild acne cases and proven to be not very proficient in the more sever types.
